The SALA (South Australian Living Artists) Festival opens late July 2018 and the feature artist for 2018 is one of Sabbia Gallery’s artists Clare Belfrage. Celebrating its 21st year and featuring over 9000 artists the wide range of SALA events & exhibitions showcase and celebrate South Australian artists.
As the SALA feature artist Clare is the recipient of the 2018 SALA Wakefield Monograph, titled ‘Rhythms of Necessity’ which will be launched at the Art Gallery of South Australia. This is an honour for Clare which acknowledges her long standing artistic career and accomplishments.
Clare will be exhibiting a solo exhibition at the JamFactory as their ‘Icon’ this year in conjunction with the festival.
A wonderful short film by Randy Larcombe titled ‘A Measure of Time’ was commissioned in conjunction with Clare’s exhibition and book launch.
