Jenni Kemarre Martiniello and Cathy Franzi who were both finalists’ for the North Beaches Environmental Art & Design Prize 2024 which was held at Manly Gallery and Museum (MAGA), Sydney. This prize is highly coveted, and with over 200 finalists inspiring real world change within the theme of the environment and sustainability, it is a prize that draws a big following within the Sydney exhibition calendar.

This year Jenni was also a finalist for the Deakin Small Sculpture Award in Melbourne. The Deakin University Contemporary Small Sculpture Award, established in 2009, is organised by the Art Collection and Galleries Unit at Deakin University, Victoria. The award celebrates contemporary sculptures from artists around Australia, culminating in an exhibition of finalists’ work held in August to October each year at the Deakin University Art Gallery.
