Sabbia Gallery is delighted to present this exquisite exhibition by Australian ceramic artists Helen Earl, Tania Rollond, Joanne Searle and Ulrica Trulsson.

Earth showcases ceramic sculptural forms and vessels by four Australian female artists. Earl, Rollond, Searle and Trulsson invest themselves completely in their practice and the result is an expression of both the world around them and their relationship with their medium.Their artworks are as much about the maker as the process and material.

Earth presents a survey of approaches, with each body of work embracing the artists’ individual practice. This can be seen in Earl’s whimsical sculptural installations, Rollond’s considered scratching and mark making, Searle’s wonderful play of printing on clay, and Trulsson’s sensitivity to colour and form.

The natural environment is a unifying link between all four artists, with each drawing on their own sense of place to inspire their work.
