In 2026, Cathy will attend the IAC International Congress in Jingdezhen, China.
A full-time studio artist, Cathy’s practice explores botanical and environmental themes through porcelain. Awarded a Doctorate in Visual Arts (Ceramics) from the Australian National University in 2015, her research examined the scientific and cultural values attributed to plant species, drawing on historical ceramics, prints, and botanical illustrations from collections around the world.
Her work continues to investigate how Australian flora and environmental knowledge can be expressed through ceramic form and surface — a lifelong commitment now recognised on the international stage.
