Jenni Kemarre Martiniello OAM – Finalist

Jenni Kemarre Martiniello OAM was one of 71 finalists for this year’s 2025 Telstra National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Art Awards Telstra (NATSIAA) with her artwork ‘Painted Desert Continuous Creation Story’ 2024.

The NATSIAA’s are Australia’s longest running and most prestigious art awards of its kind and is Australia’s longest running and most prestigious Indigenous art award. Kemarre Martiniello OAM is the only finalist residing in the ACT, and is a highly respected, award-winning artist of Irrwanyere Lower Southern Arrernte ancestry (part of the broader Arrernte nation of Central Australia).

Jenni has also been announced as a finalist in the Fisher’s Ghost Art Prize, Campbelltown Art Centre as well as a finalist in the MAC yapang Art Prize, Port Macquarie Regional Gallery, Port Macquarie. What a wonderful year of accomplishments!

We are so pleased to have some important works available in our Stockroom, and Jenni will be exhibiting in our upcoming bi-annual ‘Together we tell our Stories – Indigenous Glass, Ceramics, Fibre + Sculpture‘, opening from 10th December 2025
