Liam Fleming has just been announced as one of 30 finalists in this year’s Loewe Craft Prize. This prestigious international award recognises works that demonstrates artistic intent as well as technical proficiency with the material and is innovative in the sense that it updates tradition. With over 5000 entries in 2026, this is amazing achievement, congratulations Liam! Anna Grigson, SABBIA’s Director recently visited Adelaide where she was able to visit with Liam ahead of his solo exhibition here in late August 2026. This new body of work follows Liam’s sell-out solo exhibition at Sydney Contemporary Art Fair in 2024, and will feature new exploratory techniques that Liam has been developing.
