Sabbia Gallery is pleased to present ‘Between Here and There’ an inspiring exhibition by one of Australia’s most talented glass makers Ben Sewell. Ben is an award winning artist whose work draws on the essence of what the landscape represents, describing that experience through the emotive qualities of space, light and texture.
Ben says of his work:
Between here and there brings together a group of work rich in metaphor encompassing ideas of distance, the space between, and our relationship to the landscape.
The work hints at our present state and offers glimpses of apparent possibilities reflecting on the changing nature of our environment and what it may mean for us.
