My work is driven by the concept of line of sight—an imaginary line stretching between my eyes and the vast landscapes and skies before me. I am captivated by the interplay between light, atmosphere, and terrain, observing how the morning mists, the first light of day, and the deepening reds of sunset paint the world in constantly shifting hues.
The clouds are a central motif in this evolving symphony—billowing one moment, transforming into dark, swirling vortices the next. As the day’s light traverses the landscape, it interacts with the atmosphere, the contours of the land, and the flora, creating a mesmerizing, ever-changing display.
This dynamic relationship between light, colour, and form is my line of sight. It informs and inspires my work, guiding me to capture the beauty of these natural phenomena and their transient yet powerful presence.
