HOLLY GRACE

10 Mar - 3 Apr 2027

Sabbia is pleased to present this exciting new exhibition by Canberra based glass artist, Holly Grace. Working from Canberra Glassworks, Holly activates glass as a substrate to depict remote regions of the Australian outback, moving from her camera onto the glass canvas. Holly was the recipient of an international residency in Norway at S12 Gallery and Workshop that allowed her to not only look at the Australian landscape for inspiration but a global landscape. Activating the iconography of landscape to narrate identity, her works acting as extended portraits that trace her heritage through Europe to Australia.

In 2026 Holly was a finalist in the Fuse Glass Prize and the Waterhouse Natural Science Art Prize. During her solo exhibition in 2025, Geography of Place, the Canberra Museum and Gallery acquired a significant collection of her works.
