Internationally acclaimed glass artist Blanche Tilden presents her most recent work at Sabbia Gallery: Gallery Two

Beginning her studies in 1988 at Sydney College of the Arts, Blanche then graduated in Glass from the Canberra School of Art. She went on to complete a Post Graduate Diploma in Gold & Silversmithing, and has been the recipient of numerous prizes, awards and grants over her almost 20 year career.

Blanche Tilden’s most recent series of work, Carte Blanche has been selected as a finalist for inclusion in the 2006 Tom Malone Glass Prize, Art Gallery of Western Australia, The 2006 City of Hobart Art Prize, Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery and The Cicely and Colin Rigg Contemporary Design Award 2006, National Gallery of Victoria.

Her work features in many prominent public and private collections, including the National Gallery of Australia, National Gallery of Victoria, Powerhouse Museum, Art Gallery of South Australia, Queensland Art Gallery and the Wagga Wagga City Art Gallery National Glass Collection.
