Sabbia is pleased to present this highly anticipated solo exhibition by one of Australia’s leading ceramic artists, Pippin Drysdale. Pippin recently held a major survey exhibition at the Art Gallery of Western Australia, Infinite Terrain that showcased her extensive ceramic career that led her to her current body of work. Pippin draws on narratives of landscape, pattern and form in her work, incising the clay with fine lines are the artists way of mapping topography. Pippin was a Finalist in the 2024 Wynne Prize at the Art Gallery of New South Wales, which toured her installation nationwide. In 2020 Pippin was awarded an Honorary Doctorate of the Arts by Curtin University in Perth. Pippin has been widely exhibited across the globe as well as being strongly collected by public institutions and private collectors.
