As part of Sabbia’s ongoing Masters of Glass series — first developed by Director Anna Grigson in 1996 — we are delighted to present solid, the exhibition that opens our 2026 program.
This dynamic and exceptionally beautiful exhibition brings together artists who work in kiln‑formed or cast glass and who explore the material for its inherent solidity.
Each artist approaches the medium in a distinct way, whether drawing on its translucent depths or embracing the rich colour, density, and tonal variations that emerge when glass is treated as a solid mass.
