Ceramics, Glass + Fibre

Ben Edols and Kathy Elliott have been honoured with a beautiful solo exhibition of their work at the Toyama Glass Art Museum in Japan. The exhibition titled ‘Light Marks’ was curated by Haruka Nakashima from the Museum and has been nearly two years in the planning.

Edols and Elliott were treated like royalty throughout the installation and exhibition launch, which is well deserved for these incredible artists. The exhibition opened with a fan-fair on July 16 and runs until September 25, 2016.

The exhibtion and its catalogue are outstanding. There has been enormous interest and it is anticipated that thousands of people will view the exhibition during its ten week run.

Malcolm Morano from Urbanglass Glass Quarterly has written an article on the show, link below:

Edols and Elliott will be also presented with a survey show at Manly Art Gallery in Sydney later this year. We will keep you posted.
