Congratulations to Sabbia artists Lisa Cahill, Cobi Cockburn, Hannah Gason and Nick Mount who are among the 30 finalists in the MAKE Award.
This is a new national award for Australian design makers and is the richest non-acquisitive prize for craft and design in Australia. The winner will receive a cash prize of $35,000 and a second prize of $10,000 will be awarded. Australian designer makers were encouraged to submit a work that demonstrated innovation in technique or material use, and is an extention of their usual practice. The exhibition will run until 22 November 2023 at the Australian Design Centre, Sydney.
