Hannah Gason is a visual artist living and working on Ngunnawal and Ngambri Country. Since graduating from the ANU School of Art in 2015, Gason has been working from her studio at the Canberra Glassworks. She has exhibited nationally and internationally and has shown at Sydney Contemporary, plus held solo exhibitions at the Canberra Glassworks and Drill Hall Gallery. She has been commissioned to create large-scale works in public settings such as an installation for the Canberra Centre to coincide with Floriade and a painted ground mural in response to Frank Hinder’s ceiling mosaic for Design Canberra. Her glass work was also included in Enlighten (2020) with a light projection on Parliament House. Gason’s work has been acquired into Australian Parliament House Art Collection, Canberra Museum and Gallery collection, the Australian National Art Glass Collection and the ANU Art Collection.
